Description

About

Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc is a premium French wheat beer renowned for its distinctive blue bottle and refreshing, fruit-forward character. Brewed using a blend of quality ingredients and inspired by traditional Belgian-style wheat beers, it offers a unique combination of citrus flavours, subtle spice, and a smooth, approachable profile. Elegant and refreshing, 1664 Blanc has become a popular choice for those seeking a sophisticated and easy-drinking beer.

Tasting Note

Pale golden in colour with a naturally hazy appearance and a creamy white head, Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc presents enticing aromas of citrus peel, white peach, coriander, and delicate floral notes. The palate is smooth and refreshing, delivering flavours of lemon, orange zest, tropical fruit, and subtle spice, balanced by a soft wheat malt sweetness. Light-bodied and crisp, it finishes clean and refreshing with lingering citrus and fruity notes.

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with seafood dishes such as grilled prawns, mussels, calamari, and fresh fish, where its citrus character complements delicate coastal flavours. It also works wonderfully alongside salads, roast chicken, and Asian-inspired dishes including sushi and lightly spiced noodles. For dessert, enjoy it with lemon tart, fruit pavlova, or white chocolate cheesecake, allowing the beer’s bright citrus and fruit notes to enhance the sweetness of the dish.
