Storage & Handling Requirements
Temperature

Store at ambient temperature (15–25°C). Avoid exposure to direct heat sources or extreme cold that may cause moisture condensation.

Humidity Control

Maintain relative humidity below 65%. Sugar is hygroscopic — excessive moisture causes caking and degradation. Store in dry, ventilated warehouses.

Stacking

Stack bags on pallets, maximum 15 bags high for 50kg bags. Use dunnage boards between layers to distribute weight evenly.

Shelf Life

Properly stored sugar has a shelf life of 24 months from production date. Brown sugars and specialty grades: 18 months recommended.
