Tasting Note

Deep amber in colour with a clear, inviting appearance, Shepherd Neame Master Brew offers aromas of toasted biscuit malt, caramel, dried fruit, and subtle earthy hops. The palate is smooth and well-rounded, featuring flavours of toffee, roasted nuts, orange marmalade, and gentle spice, balanced by a refreshing hop bitterness. The finish is clean and satisfying, leaving lingering notes of malt sweetness, fruit, and traditional English hop character.

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with hearty British classics such as roast beef, steak and ale pie, and sausage and mash, where its rich malt profile complements savoury flavours. It also works exceptionally well alongside mature cheddar, Stilton, and ploughman’s lunches, enhancing both creamy and salty notes. For dessert, enjoy it with sticky toffee pudding, fruit cake, or apple crumble, allowing the ale’s caramel and biscuit flavours to harmonise with sweet, comforting dishes.
